Murfreesboro Storm Shelters is a referral service. We aren't a manufacturer or contractor. We publish practical information on storm shelters for Rutherford County homeowners, and when you request a quote, we pass it to an independent local installer who serves your area.
We don't build or install shelters ourselves. The installer who contacts you is responsible for their own products, pricing, permits and warranties.
Who we refer
We only send requests to installers who:
- Install shelters tested to ICC 500 and FEMA P-361 for tornadoes, and can show the documentation
- Carry business liability insurance
- Assess rock, drainage and slab conditions before installing
- Handle or explain local permits and Tennessee 811 locates
- Provide written quotes and warranties
Always check documentation yourself before you buy.
Cost to you
None. The site is free to use and there's no obligation. The installer pays to receive requests from this site, which doesn't change the price they quote you.
